Recipes made with cream chargers; when you want to add some spice to everything cream-related. Use it to infuse flavors into alcohol, oils or beverages. Make flavorful creams and foams within 60 seconds.

To start using cream chargers in your recipes, you need two indispensable accessories; a whipped cream dispenser to charge with a cartridge filled with nitrous oxide.

All cream charger recipes are made with a 1 litre whipped cream dispenser.

Summer Strawberry Mousse

A simple mousse made with fresh strawberries, cream, and powdered sugar.  So simple and very delicious.

Ingredients

400 gstrawberries
75 gsieved powdered sugar
150 mldouble cream
Accessories
1whipped cream dispenser
1cream charger (see goedkope slagroompatronen)

Instructions

  1. Set aside 6 strawberries to decorate the mousse later.
  2. Blender the rest of the strawberries till liquid puree. Sieve the puree to remove seeds.
  3. Add powdered sugar and blend.
  4. Add the cream and stir, don’t blend.
  5. Pour mixture in a cream dispenser and shake gently.
  6. Fill glasses with the mousse.
  7. Decorate with remaining strawberries.

Whipped Chocolate Mousse Recipe

What kind of sugary treat would be well worth it to wake up for in the night? Right, would you like whipped cream with that? This cream charger recipe is one of our favorites.

Ingredients

200 gfinely chopped dark chocolate
100 gbrewed coffee at room temperature
100 mlwater
40 gsugar
Accessories
1whipped cream dispenser
1cream charger

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate, coffee, water and sugar in a medium sized metal bowl and place on top of a pan with hot water. Stir until all is melted.
  2. When all is melted evenly, remove from heat and place the bowl in an ice bath. Whisk the mixture till the consistency reaches that of heavy cream.
  3. Pour mixture into whipped cream dispenser and charge the whipper with 1 charger.
  4. Shake 30 times and dispense into glasses.
  5. Decorate however you like, chocolate balls or flakes. Serve immediately.

Coffee Rum Cream Topping

Ingredients

3 cupsheavy cream
6 tbsprum
6 tbspKahlua (or Tia Maria for less sugar)
6 tbsppowdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into the whipped cream dispenser.
  2. Charge the whipped cream dispenser with a N2O cartridge.
  3. Shake the dispenser 30 times.
  4. Make a coffee however you like.
  5. Dispense the cream on top of the coffee.

Mojito Deconstructed Cream Charger Recipe

Do you like Mojito so much, that you would also appreciate tasting each component separately? In this recipe you can! But you can also combine them together in a glass or as a dessert.

Ingredients

White Rum Granita
50 mltablespoons of rum
2 tbsptablespoons of Kahlua (or Tia Maria for less sugar)
1 tstablespoons of powdered sugar
120 mlwater
Mint and Sugar Candy
100 gwhite sugar
3 tbspwater
1 dropmint extract
Lime Jelly
1 packlime jelly powder
1 cupwater
*mint leaves and lime wedges to decorate

Instructions

Mint and Sugar Candy

  1. Put the sugar, mint extract and water in a pan with a thick bottom – heat gently.
  2. Melt the sugar and gradually let the water evaporate. Make sure it doesn’t form crystals by not touching it.
  3. When the temperature reaches 110 degrees Celsius, immediately remove and spread mixture over baking sheet and cool for 3 hours.
  4. After cooling, chop up in pieces.

Lime Jelly

  1. Make lime jelly according to package instructions.
  2. Let cool down till it starts setting.
  3. Stir thoroughly and put in whipped cream dispenser.
  4. Charge the dispenser with two nitrous oxide chargers and shake heavily.
  5. Store in fridge for 3 hours.

White Rum Granita

  1. Mix water with mint leaves and sugar syrup. Boil the mixture once.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and cool and strain the mixture. Put into flat tray.
  3. Put the flat tray in a freezer on the coldest temperature and let infuse for 3 hours. Whisk the mixture with a fork after 3 hours and put back for another 3 hours to ensure the granita has the right form.

Serving: Serve in chilled cocktail glass.

Piña Colada

When talking about traditional cocktails, Piña Colada has to be in your top 5. A long-lasting friendship between 2 exotic friends; pineapple and coconut.

Ingredients

2/3 cupcoconut milk
1 cuppineapple pieces
1/2 cuppineapple juice of the preserved pineapple bits
150 mlwhite rum
1/2 cupvanilla ice cream
*some pineapple slices to garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine pineapple bits and half of the syrup.
  2. Add rum and blend well.
  3. Let it stay in the fridge for 2 hours to get infused.
  4. Use a blender to mix the coconut cream with the left-over syrup and the vanilla ice cream.
  5. Blend at maximum speed for 1 min. and strain.
  6. Put in a whipped cream dispenser, charge it with 2 cream chargers and put it in the fridge for an hour.
  7. Serve in a chilled cocktail glass; put a load of coconut cream on the bottom. Add the pineapple mixture on top and garnish with some pineapple slices.

Cream Charger Recipe: Dairy Free Coconut Whipped Cream

Ingredients

400 mlcoconut milk unsweetened
2 tbspcoconut oil
10 gramvanilla extract
50 mlwhite rum

  1. Mix and whisk together.

Instructions

Iced Coffee

A cream charger recipe for an iced coffee is what you want this upcoming summer. It’s going to be one hot and sweaty season and you need something to keep you fresh and awake.

Ingredients

1 cupwhole milk
1/2 cupheavy cream
2 tbspcane sugar
15 ginstant coffee powder
60 mlwater
5 piecesice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil water and add the coffee powder. Stir to mix properly.
  2. Add 5 g of sugar and stir well.
  3. Remove from heat and cool down completely.
  4. Add 15 g of sugar to whipping cream and stir to combine.
  5. Mix the remaining sugar with the milk and make sure it dissolves.
  6. Chill the milk in the freezer till its cold.
  7. Put everything in a cream dispenser and charge it with a cream charger.
  8. Shake it well and chill in the freezer for 60 minutes.
  9. Serve up: add milk in a glass filled with ice.
  10. Top the coffee mixture over the milk and stir gently.

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a pan and mix with vinegar, wine, lemon juice.
  2. Mix in the egg yolks and egg.
  3. Stir gradually till well-mixed.
  4. Pour into a whipped cream dispenser and charge it with a N2O cartridge.
  5. Shake 10 times and dispense on top of your dish of liking.

Lemon-Infused Olive Oil

Almost any salad on the planet benefits from olive oil to give some more substance to it. Add lemon to that and it really makes the flavor of the vegetables pop.

Instructions

  1. Put the olive oil and lemon zest into a whipped cream dispenser.
  2. Charge the dispenser with 2 cream chargers.
